Located in Meyerland, this recent addition project to an existing studioMET house encompasses a new carport, entry sequence, pool and fence. The carport structure creates the main facade fronting the street, yet still maintains the continuity for the exterior space's connection to the private yard space. The original house,
an open-plan residence, was developed from a very simple plan. The living and dining rooms, as well as the kitchen are combined together and greet guests upon entry into the house. Wood beams and trusses were left exposed to celebrate the structure of the house.
